Your primary mission is to lead integrations of our IRM tool into key applications and technologies, providing military-grade encryption, security, and policy directly to the data itself, giving GE Aviation granular control over our data, no matter where it goes!
Innovate and drive data security solutions to keep our sensitive data safe from accidental loss, theft, or misuse. Reduce the risk of sensitive data breaches by securely enabling access only for those who need it. Build and implement policies that deliver appropriate levels of acceptable and tolerated risk. Lead efforts to protect and control access to GE Aviation’s most sensitive data.
Become a domain guide and technical evangelist of our IRM tool.
Lead assimilations of the IRM tool using vendor’s SDK and REST APIs to encrypt, track, and revoke access to files.
Collaborate with IRM product owner and key business leaders to identify new opportunities for IRM integration.
Build advanced data security and control into GE Aviation critical applications, extending protections beyond the borders of our organization.
Partner with Insider Threat and External Threat teams to ingest IRM logs into tools used to monitor and track threats.
Define access controls and set and update policy permissions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Proficiency in C#, C++, Java, Python, SQL and other common application languages.
Understanding of IT Security – IRM/DRM, common cyber risks to large corporations, data protection strategies, threat modeling, threat intelligence, and risk vs. vulnerability vs. threat.
Working knowledge in Third Party Risks/Threats, Cyber Espionage, Hacktivism, Distributed Denial of Service Attacks, Malware, Mobile or Emerging Threats, Social Engineering, Insider Threats, or Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
Demonstrates ambitious desire to continually learn and grow in knowledge related to the constantly evolving threat landscape.
Solid written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to stay composed when under pressure and thrives in a fast paced and changing environment.
