General Electric Advanced Lead Engineer- Advanced Combat Engines Control Systems in Evendale, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Turbofan engines are exciting. To some it's the fan, or the high- or low-pressure turbines, or the combustor, or even the augmentor (on military engines).

On my team we think it's exciting to invent the logic and software that stitch all those subsystems together to form a cohesive operating machine - one that can readily respond to pilot inputs while still providing safe and fuel-efficient thrust to complete the mission. This logic also provides diagnostic and prognostic capabilities to better support our customers' fleet needs.

In this role we design, develop, validate and certify new engine control strategies to deliver innovative products for military applications.

If you have a passion for delivering integrated hardware and software solutions I'd encourage you to come check out some of the really interesting projects that we are delivering.

The Advanced Lead Engineer – Advanced Combat Engines Control Systems will play a crucial role in leading the development and testing of next generation logic and software for future military applications, as part of a cross-organizational team of engineers. In this role you will integrate with Prognostics, Electrical, Fuel, Performance, and Engine System teams to optimize the engine Control design, while contributing to the overall business strategy for next generation engine applications.
