Roles and Responsibilities
Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
Understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Recognition of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the facility.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Proven interpersonal skills with ability to hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members.
Focus efforts on delivering products and services to satisfy customer needs
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
