GE Gas Power is seeking a world class Senior HR Leader who will be an integral part of a contemporary global HR team. You will drive HR strategy for a 2000 employee Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations with direct reports across multiple sites. As GE undergoes the largest worldwide Lean Transformation, this HR leader partners with operating leaders to drive a Lean culture transformation as well as utilize Lean to drive process improvements in HR. You will be empowered to drive cutting edge diversity and inclusion initiatives, grow and develop others and leverage data to drive decision making. You will be a partner at the table with operations and trusted advisor who coaches senior level leaders.

The Senior Human Resources Partner is responsible for developing and executing the human resources strategy across the Elblag Poland Operation and other sites across the Value Stream. In this role, the chosen candidate will drive strategy, integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, and be an advocate for both salaried and hourly employees. This role will ensure we have the right talent, capabilities, and cultural mindset to deliver for our customers AND make Gas Power a winning, inclusive, and safe place to work for all our employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR leadership for the Value Stream including the Elblag Manufacturing Operation and other manufacturing sites across Europe.

  • Ensure comprehensive, contemporary, and effective HR strategies are executed in support of a diverse and global workforce

  • Lead, and motivate the HR team, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, retention, learning, employee engagement, and total rewards

  • Ensure the culture and strategy of the Supply Chain aligns with and contributes to the business-wide priorities, the Gas Power Purpose, and the GE Leadership Behaviors

  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop a strategic workforce plan, building key skills and a pipeline for critical talent across the Value Stream

  • Champion Lean methodologies to build organizational capabilities, contain cost, reduce inefficiencies and waste, and maximize performance across the business and HR function

  • Oversee and enhance a robust talent management strategy, relying on data and analytics to fulfill the organizations’ business strategies, including leadership in Inclusion & Diversity initiatives

  • Develop appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment and develop/implement appropriate change management plans as required

  • Advise, coach, counsel, and provide candid feedback to People Leaders

  • Drive an HR strategy that delivers business results while promoting employee advocacy

  • Facilitate communications throughout the organization and act as an employee advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment

  • Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved to drive and promote a work environment that is in compliance with the Spirit and the Letter


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of Human Resource or related positions

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations or Business Administration from and accredited college or university

  • Demonstrated influencing and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated experience developing & executing broad organizational strategies

  • Successful experience developing and coaching both senior leadership and HR talent

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively link HR strategy to business strategy

  • Driven leader who sets high standards, possesses a positive outlook, is a continuous learner, and will roll up sleeves to get the job done

  • Prior experience in Manufacturing environments

  • Ability to energize and lead in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and create a positive, team-oriented culture

  • Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels

  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills

  • PHR/SPHR certification
