In this role you will be the key point of contact for clinical education of our customers in the Western part of Switzerland (Suisse Romande) and occasionally also at customers' sites across Switzerland.

With your own clinical MRI experience you gained as a Radiographer (MTRA) and ideally an experience in inducing and training Radiographers (e.g. in a role as a lead-MTRA) you are the ideal fit for the role as you know how to train technical content to different clinical audiences. Your passion to work with people, to be close to customers and to be always up to date with the newest MRI technologies will make you an important peer for our clinical education and commercial teams in the whole DACH region.

This role is flexibly homebased in the Western part of Switzerland as you will mainly train and educate at our customers' sites. However you can always have access to one of our Switzerland based offices in Ecublens or Glattbrugg for internal meetings where needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct high quality Clinical Education training at customer sites, to ensure customer's safe and effective use of GE equipments, maximising image quality and productivity

  • Apply all procedures requested by Clinical Education management (Coordination process, Visit preparation, Field Visit Report, Debrief, Survey or else)

  • Pro-actively escalate customer issues and needs to the relevant level in the organization

  • Provide in-depth presentation and demonstration to the user for specific Products & Services

  • Develop content and deliver Classroom courses at the regional Customer Training facility

  • Participate in Clinical Education initiatives such as Doctor to Doctor and Immersion classes

  • When requested, provide support for congresses, road shows, exhibitions, and user meetings

  • When requested, provide on-line application (OLA) support as a backup to the regular OLA team

Required Qualifications

  • Radiographer degree (Medizinisch-technische Radiologiefachkraft (MTRA)), or PhD in bio-sciences, or Biomedical Engineering school

  • Deep practical experience of MRI in a clinical environment

  • Teaching skills or teaching experience

  • Strong Presentation skills

  • Ability to travel and be at customer sites 70 to 80% of the working time (annual average)

  • Fluent French, German and English in written and spoken

Desired Characteristics

  • Significant experience in the medical industry

  • Experience with postprocessing software for medical imaging and/or MR spectrometers

  • Experience in conducting research in MR or other imaging modality (NM, PET, etc.)

  • Knowledge of GE's or competitors' MR products

  • Previous experience as an Application Specialist in another company

  • Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, notions of Linux)

  • Fluent in another European language
