General Electric Project Financial Analyst Intern in East Cleveland, Ohio

Role Summary:

The Project Financial Analyst Intern primary responsibility will be to provide support to Project Finance Manager. The role of Project Financial Analyst Intern will also have an opportunity to work with other finance functions to learn other aspects of the business (Supply Chain, Product management, and Commercial)

Essential Responsibilities:

In this position of Project Financial Analyst Intern, you will :

  • Perform project cost analysis

  • Assist with budget reviews and project profitability analysis

  • Weekly financial reporting for operations and the leadership team

  • Month end closing activities

  • Assist with quarterly estimates of Orders, Sales, Margins, and cash flow Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance or similar focus

  • Minimum of 1 prior finance work experience / internship

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (out of 4.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

  • Good quantitative and analytical skills, as well as PC and Systems skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions

  • SAP, Hyperion, and BI reporting experience

  • Project Systems knowledge is a plus
