General Electric Cardiology Solutions Leader in Dublin, Ireland

Job Description Summary

The Cardiology Segment Leader (CSL) is responsible for managing the long-term success of GE within the Cardiology market in Ireland.

By proactively developing and executing a One GE Healthcare Sales strategy that capitalizes on the strength of GE Healthcare’s broad portfolio of Cardiology products, services and solutions, they are expected to lead and secure large, strategic, cross-P&L customer purchases.

The CSL will build an executive business relationship with the clinical leadership in key accounts to define and implement partnership objectives. They will also focus the account team on the Cardiology domain by engaging Account Managers, Imaging Product Sales Specialists, Project Managers and Technical specialists

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities will include

  • Create and win sales opportunities as the clinical expert for ECG, Stress, Holter, Archiving, and Invasive System products.

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the GE Healthcare Account Team in assigned cardiology accounts to represent the full GE portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business of the assigned accounts, including customers’ key initiatives and priorities.

  • Understand customers’ changing clinical issues and challenges

  • Lead and leverage the Account Team, including Product Sales Specialists for (MR, CT and Interventional and data solutions), Account Managers, Service Operations, and other Company resources to provide the necessary technical, clinical and business content to customers as needed.

  • Build long term strategic alliance with the portfolio of accounts to continue to add value

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education to Bachelor’s degree level

  • Experience in Business Management or Sales/Marketing

  • Proven key account management and project planning skills

  • Proven track record on relationship building skills

Desirable characteristics

  • Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels

  • High level presentation skills: able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact About GE

  • Clinically trained in cardiac physiology

  • Experience in closing large, complex, strategic deals
