General Electric Product Specialist (m/f) in Product Management - RIS/PACS in Dornstadt, Germany

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, feeding voice of the customer feedback into engineering and finding creative solutions to customer problems.

You should be willing to travel and be comfortable with a wide variety of audiences – from radiologists to clerical staff,

internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development of and help with the designing of our Radiology Enterprise Imaging Solution (RIS & PACS) with a specific focus on reporting and reporting workflow

  • Gather and deeply understand customer requirements such as new features, regulatory changes, or desired customer or workflow outcomes, and to help product management with the prioritization of these developments

  • Own the planning and drive the implementation of features/solutions/outcomes with our local R&D departments


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Science,Technology, Engineering, Math or comparable or apprenticeship as MTRA/radiographer or similar education in a medical IT environment

  • Strong clinical experience in imaging combined with technical experience in workflow software products

  • Practical experience as MTRA/radiographer, super user or system administrator in a hospital or large radiology center or as Application Specialist in a Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving and Communication System (RIS/PACS software systems) or equivalent

  • Extensive experience with established work processes in multiple fields such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and preferably Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving and Communication System (RIS/PACS software systems)

  • Familiar with the radiology workflow, including reporting

  • Experience as a trainer with good presentation

  • Very good communication skills

  • Capability to build a plan and prioritize

  • Strong autonomy, pro-activity and leadership

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to travel and capacity to work globally (25%)
