General Electric MRI Zone Clinical Leader BNL in Diegem, Belgium

Role Summary:The MRI ZCL will act as generalist on the academic sites. E.g. the University hospital in Brussels

& the University hospital of Rotterdam, equipped with several MRI systems from GEHC. This

equipment is part of a research perspective. The ZCL will be involved in the development of

collaboration, publication and implementation of research protocols. The ZCL will take care of this

site for a period equivalent to a half-time over 3 years, that may be renewed for a period of 2 to 3

years.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering product training to customers and build solid

customer relationships on a scientific and commercial level

  • Support the customer in

research and train them to achieve the highest usage quality

  • Producing well-written posttraining reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs

  • Lead

classrooms in the GE Academy together with subject matter experts and key opinion

leaders

  • Participate to the development of Online material for advanced applications and

deliver Webinars

  • Improve customer satisfaction and install base retention through

continuous education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer

  • Become

recognized expert in product/clinical technical competencies, answer a wide range of questions

concerning software and clinical applications

  • Providing expertise anywhere from product

demonstrations, to implementation and on-going support

  • Use market and product

knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service

strategies

  • Support trade shows and professional conferences with educational &

scientific training & product demonstrations

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • PhD degree in MRI or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Need for a strong

willingness and focus on the customer & customer satisfaction

  • Demonstrated skills in

clinical scanning on current products / platforms

  • A clear thinker with the ability to interpret

and translate complex technical data and systems

  • Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Can work autonomously and

take initiatives in a fast-evolving environment

  • Have strong training skills to teach customers

equipment functions and applications in the learning style which suits best the

situation

  • Exceptional communication and well-developed interpersonal skills will allow you

to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on the bigger

picture

  • Proficiency in computer skills (Software & post processing)

  • Willingness

to travel within territory and to sales meetings and tradeshows

  • Fluent in local language

(Dutch & French) and English

  • Valid motor vehicle license

  • Clinical experience in hospital/university setting preferred

  • Proficiency

in use of PC hardware/software and audio-visual equipment
