The UX designer and member of the UX team will be responsible for defining and improving the user experience of the highly technical and innovative JewelSuite™ Subsurface Modeling software
In closecooperation with all stakeholders, design the user experience of a new set ofapplications that are part of the highly technical software JewelSuite™
Define innovativeuser interfaces and interaction styles that bring simplicity to complex subjectmatter to make the software easy to use and improve user productivity
Develop andmaintain user journeys, wireframes, specifications, navigation maps and otherdesign documents
Cooperate with thescrum teams to make sure that workflows reflect the customers’ needs and ensureconsistency
Are flexible toadapt your design when the technical solution proofs to be difficult.
Understand thebusiness needs, value and scope
Ensure thecustomer’s needs are reflected while maintaining consistency across thesoftware application
Have a solidunderstanding of user-centered design process, sketching, user journeys, wireframing and design patterns
Have a drive todesign the best user experience
Have excellentcommunication skills (verbal and written)
Have excellentinterpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types andstakeholders
Have stronganalytical skills
Hold strong indifficult situations
Have the abilityto understand technical issues at a high level

Master’sdegree or equivalent in UX Design or a related subject
Atleast 3 years of experience as a UX designer in a product developmentenvironment in a technical domain.
Experiencewith UX design on desktop applications
Experience in collaborating with and being part of an overseas team(Europe / US)
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Experience with UX design in technical software products.
