General Electric Sales Applications Specialist – Ultrasound in Danderyd, Sweden

Role Summary:We are looking for a Sales Application specialist who is able to provide technical and clinical support during the sales process of Ultrasound Women’s Health equipments (providing demos, installations and customer support). In this role you are also supporting sales of Ultrasound Service & Probe Hygiene offerings.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The role will report into the Nordic Commercial leader for Clinical Care Solutions

  • Promote equipments, upgrades, probe service & hygiene offerings

  • Drive the Probe hygiene business in Swedish market with Ultrasound sales team

  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers

  • Develop and deliver product training to customers on equipment use, monitor customer installations of ultrasound products to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships

  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training

  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies

  • Facilitate team communication and the sharing of best practices

  • Communicate with local Ultrasound team to ensure all customer and business needs are met

  • Travel within Sweden but also some traveling in Nordics


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Strong presentation & communication skills

  • Solid problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments

  • Clinical ultrasound experience in large hospital/university setting preferred

  • Advanced certification/registries desired (e.g. midwife)

  • Previous sales & application experience is desired, but not required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Required active clinical certification/registries required to scan live patients in a clinical setting

  • Demonstrated ultrasound clinical scanning proficiencies

  • Relevant clinical experience following certification with demonstrated skill in specific required areas or relevant commercial applications experience with demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios

  • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Willingness to travel 50% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including team working skills and good communication skills

  • Excellent verbal and written Swedish and English skills

  • Driving Licence

  • Self-starter, able to manage time and organize and prioritize workload
