General Electric Inside Associate Account Manager - Imaging in Dallas, Texas

Role Summary:Associate Account Manager for a defined Product is an Inside Sales position, covering named Accounts in a defined Market. This role is an individual contributor who also partners with our outside commercial sales team to develop sales opportunities to grow the market funnel collectively. Critical to the success is the ability to assist our account communities in developing strong customer relationships to uncover needs, meet and exceed our order targets for new sales and upgrades.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales order and funnel growth volumes within assigned territory

  • Qualify opportunities in the territory and drive relationships in assigned accounts, advancing opportunities with product information, quotes and demos. Negotiate to closure of orders and sales

  • Develop a strong understanding of the GE Healthcare product portfolio to offer creative solutions to customers

  • Improve customer satisfaction by developing strong relationships with customers.

  • Track customer activity, opportunity milestones and deal stages through CRM tool to maintain a monthly and quarterly forecast

  • Rigorous follow up and teaming with field sales team on shared upgrade opportunities and customer engagement strategies

 Collaborate with and leverage subject matter experts and other resources within GEHC channels to build relationships

  • Forecast orders and sales within the applicable sales funnel tools and reports for their products/solutions/services in their assigned territory/accounts.

  • Conduct timely follow up with adherence to all Quality and Compliance based expectations and process requirements

  • As needed, drive focused sales and marketing campaigns and follow up to discover new opportunities

  • Align to Inside Sales Priorities and perform to customer related metrics

  • Perform other sales focused tasks as needed to drive sales growth

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 2+ of previous consultative/technical sales experience

  • Self-starter motivated to prospect & close new opportunities

  • Highly motivated with excellent verbal, phone and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Previous experience with CRM systems, salesforce preferred

  • Proven track record of sales success

  • Ability to be an individual contributor in a team matrixed environment
