The North America Region Channel Manager, OEM & Distribution is responsible for the overall sales management of all OEM’s and Distributors located for the GE Power Conversion business. This position will work with the regional sales account managers to successfully development OEM & Distributor accounts / commercial approaches thus enabling growth of the Power Conversion portfolio.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

As the Channel Sales Manager, OEM and Distribution you will:

  • Accountable for meeting quarterly and annual operational plan order targets (orders, down payment and margin) for the OEM & Distribution sales channels.

  • Developing new accounts and develop strategic account plans for top OEM and Distributor Accounts.

  • Identify the ‘untapped’ customer base to ensure regular direct customer to build the required customer relationship; link the Territory Sales Managers to the untapped customer base.

  • Develop pricing and commercial guidelines for qualifying distribution channels.

  • Develop market-based pricing tools and approaches for winning key OEM business.

  • Identify and develop top key account partnerships, strategic plans and overall ownership of the market opportunities for the OEM sales market.

  • Participate in the overall commercial process rhythm

  • Engage with regional ITO / OTR teams in order to address customer challenges raised during customer engagements

  • Link the regional pipeline with the global fulfillment teams in order to achieve short- to mid-term orders targets

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited school

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, commercial operations, risk or marketing

Desired Characteristics :

  • 5 years in Sales experience selling Medium Voltage motors to OEM and Distribution channels

  • Experience selling or working with customers on Medium voltage drive / system solutions

  • Demonstrated inclusive behavior with success in leading or working in a matrix organization

  • Demonstrated clear thinking with effective communication at all levels

  • Strong influencing skills

  • Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needsStrong sales and negotiation skills with a successful sales growth track recordRelevant IT knowledge
