Essential Responsibilities

  • Developing and Leading the IR, CAPA management process within QC

  • Champion Lean and assist the QC team in raising awareness of Lean tools.

  • Working with the QC leadership team to establish best practices /ways of working

  • Leading the QC team in training and close out of Department IRs and CAPA’s

  • Comply with EHS regulations & policies

  • Participating and leading root cause investigations and risk assessments for QC dept.

  • Identifying productivity and compliance opportunities and driving same to completion

  • Leading and participating in cross functional team investigations and continuous improvement events

  • Maintaining and improving the systems around documentation and data management

  • Participation in Element, PIT teams, Trending expert group, IR Support group etc.

Requirements/qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Life Sciences or equivalent

  • Relevant experience working in a GMP, GDP pharmaceutical production environment (pharmaceutical product or API)

  • Experience with leading audits and dealing with regulatory filings

  • Experience working cross functionally with other Manufacturing and Production departments.
