Role Summary:The AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineer) Leader is responsible for developing and managing the advanced manufacturing engineering team that works to deliver new manufacturing technologies as well as new products from design into manufacturing. The role will provide both program management and technical leadership for the team, and drive manufacturing excellence through new processes and methods that will improve safety, reduce product cost and improve product quality and delivery.
Essential Responsibilities:Key responsibilities include:
•Leverage strong influencing, communication, organization, and leadership skills to lead team by example and strive to deliver NPI programs and process technologies on time with high quality
•Manage team priorities and work to remove constraints to team’s success to drive improved product quality, capacity, and productivity or implement new products into manufacturing.
•Work closely and collaboratively with design engineering, the factory, affiliate manufacturing sits, as well as central AME teams including test, process technology, and NPI to deliver best practices and solutions to the factory and team
•Develop team to be leaders of Six Sigma methodologies and leverage data driven approaches to improve productivity and implement robust process controls to improve reliability and reduce defects
•Advocate and leader of lean methodologies to instill a level of DFM/DFA, Design Standardization, DFT, Barashi, and 3P are key elements in the new product development process
•Ensuring regulatory compliance through Qualification; Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance
•Recognized as a key manufacturing technology leader across the Global Supply Chain, responsible for implementing new manufacturing process technologies into new and existing products. Seek out best practices at trade shows and benchmarking other sites
•Lead initiatives with wide business impact. Ensure consistent and effective deployment across the Global Supply Chain
Qualifications/Requirements:1. B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree and 4 years of experience, or an Associates Degree and 6 years experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting of PC/server based systems, or High School diploma with 8 years of experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting of PC/server based systems
Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience owning production processes, and growing capability, yield and quality.
Strong communication Skills, written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to develop metrics and consolidate /distill data for both upward and horizontal interpretation.
Good Strategic Thinker; Strong Influencing Skills; Resourceful and Inclusive. Comfortable working thru pushback.

10+ years industrial experience in Manufacturing Engineering
6-sigma DMAIC BB/MBB certified
Experiences in HLA and Process Intensive manufacturing
Product and Process Development experience
Solid working knowledge of GEHC QMS procedures for GMP
Experienced owning business initiatives and driving behavior of large teams
Experienced developing tools and templates
Demonstrated program or project management skills
Working knowledge of GEHC IT Tools and Mfg Systems
Experience developing SW requirements and supporting SW developments
