will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Process all documents for the militainment of a large inventory and process packaging, receipts, and shipments worldwide. Accountable for the quality of own work. There is generally a

step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Contract performance Management Specialist provides direction and assistance to work group to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to makedecisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning in the receipt, process orders and shipment, stocking, and packaging of product, required to support the business, utilizing government procedures.

  • Responsible for the receipt, process orders and shipment, stocking, and packaging of product, required to support the business, utilizing government procedures.

  • Responsible to input data in 3 inventory systems and maintain/ conduct inventory.

  • Proactively identifies possible constraints and manages priorities to meet customer requirements.

  • Provides a variety of administrative support – based on assignment may include Customs documentation, DOD logistics documentation, report generation, coordinating delivery schedule with repair shops, ordering supplies.

  • Communicates regularly with internal customers and external customers.

  • Conduct physical inventory and audits at regularly scheduled intervals.

  • Support project management activities for projects undertaken by the project management Organization.

  • Participate on project teams to facilitate the implementation of GEâs project management methodology to facilitate continuous improvement.

  • Operate and utilize computerized project management technique.

  • Administer logistical support of assigned projects including but not limited to shipping coordination, packaging requirements, shipping documentation, and freight damage claims

  • Identify potential issues that may impact customer CTQs or project financial performance, resolve or escalate as necessary

  • Establish and maintain all job administrative files and records

  • Ensure proper storage and retrieval of all documentation associated with inventory movements in and out of GE

  • Support project management activities for projects undertaken by the project management organization

  • Provide assistance with all inventory audits to insure 100% inventory accuracy and compliance

  • Support the benchmarking of performance such that project-to-project information is available to management for business decisions

  • Identify potential issues that may impact customer CTQs or project financial performance, resolve, or escalate as

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to qualify for and maintain a US Government security Clearance.

  • At least 1 additional years of experience in a logistics

  • ​ As least 1 year working experience in a customer support role

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • Ability to lift/move material up to 35 pounds, with or without accommodations. May be required to work with hazardous materials. Work environment requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong computer skills, fully familiar with all MS Office tools

• Highly detailed person required for this position

• Military supply chain experience recommended

• Strong communications skills

• High School Diploma or equivalency

• Ability to work overtime as required
