Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer to support Artificial Lift in Claremore, OK. This position works within the Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) team providing on-site calibration and technical support of Factory Acceptance Test systems (FAT), Assembly Maintainence and Overhaul (AMO) manufacturing tooling, services, and supports FAT qualification standards world wide. May also provide technical support for service center and manufacturing equipment relocation and commissioning. Special projects as assigned.
CalibrateFAT systems on site globally
Providetrouble shooting of test systems and other capital tooling used in AMO andManufacturing
Commissioningof AMO shops as part of a team or singly
Provideshop assessments to adhere to the company’s Best Practices
Drive HSEand Quality systems adherence
Support orlead Special Projects as assigned
Approximately30% travel internationally will be required
Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering or Applied Science
Candidateshould have 1+ years of practical experience troubleshooting mechanical,electromechanical, electrical, and computer systems all or in part.
Moderatelifting, up to 50 lbs
Bothshop and field work environment exposure
Candidateshould be comfortable with scheduled and unscheduled travel requirements
Candidateshould operate with autonomy once fully trained
