General Electric Senior Manager - Cyber Security (IAM/IGA) | Remote in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description Summary

As a technical leader and people manager, the Identity Governance and Administration Senior Manager will be responsible for leading a team building out GE's Sailpoint Identity IQ and Compliance Manager capabilities. You will apply your knowledge management, software development methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to lead your team to deliver a quality set of scalable, resilient services, on budget, and within planned schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have a strong understanding of the underlying controls and business processes that comprise the major functions of:

  • IGA Automation tools

  • Design Deployment Adoption Provisioning / Deprovisioning

  • User objects and access Role Construct and management

  • Account Lifecycle management

  • Artifact management and Reporting Certification control automation.

  • Supporting the development of strategy and roadmap and executing roadmaps against that strategy, assuring capability meets the requirements of the controls associated with user provisioning / deprovisioning and access management lifecycles.

  • Identifying and evaluating tools, utilities processes and components that comprise the IGA ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a keen interest in improving the Identity internal control environment. They are highly organized and able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, meet committed delivery dates and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Present updates to leadership at all levels, sponsors and and customers.

  • Work with others to define future technology platforms and architecture for products and services.

  • Quickly learn, internalize and develop a strong understanding of key priorities and GE business units and executives.

  • Provide day to day work direction for team members engaged in projects and delivery.

  • Facilitate and coach teams on requirements estimate and work sizing.

  • Demonstrate mastery of intricacies and interactions within dynamic agile cultures and processes.

  • Drive a continuous learning culture to help guide continuous improvements.

  • Provide leadership on Lean/Agile principles and development practices.

  • Actively pursue new methods and practices to increase productivity

  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and recognize key risk areas for specific implementations

  • Assist in the resolution of conflicting priorities through the proactive communication of requirements, timelines and stakeholders.

  • Serve as a subject matter and technical expert for assigned programs and development initiatives

  • Work with system leaders and functional teams to ensure products and services adhere to compliance and controllership standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and 9+ years relevantexperience in Cyber Security/Identity and Access Management OR a H.S. Diploma and 13+ yrs experience in this area.

  • 4+ years IAM (IGA Preferred) experience for Financial services or other highly regulated industry

  • 2+ years experience in a Identity Leadership role with responsibility for delivering capabilities or tools.

  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and staff.

Desired Characteristics & Technical Expertise

  • Understanding of RBAC Development, processes and Controls

  • Understanding of PCI, SOX, HIPAA, EU-GDPR regulations for IAM

  • Working knowledge or better of industry standard IGA tools such as SailPoint, Sun/Oracle.

  • Recognizes patterns and complexity in problems. Extracts decomposition algorithms, and strategically plans how to execute programs by understanding how best to decompose to expose / protect against risk

  • Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles

  • Through working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and best practices

  • Understanding of full stack platform concepts and technologies

  • Good understanding of Platform Integration strategies by developing applications and framework.

  • Maps current requirements to industry trends, analyses competition trends

  • Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Demonstrates advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Black belt certified). Guides new teams to adopt Agile, troubleshoots adoption efforts, and guide continuous improvement. Provides training on Lean / Agile. Drives elimination of inefficiencies in coding process. Teaches XP practices to others. Actively embraces new methods and practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness

  • Understanding of Cloud Technologies and complex Platform Integrated Systems. Capable of designing technical implementation plans around integrating Platform systems.

  • Delivers automation that ensures Identity provisioning and deprovisioning controls are executed accurately and maintain audit artifacts for validation of completeness.

  • Delivers automation that ensures audit certification control executes in a complete, accurate and timely manner in accordance with published standards and policies

  • A key contributor to the Identity standards and actively participates in the annual review and update of Identity controls.

  • Provides Subject Matter expertise to business units

  • Drives continuous improvement of controls in both ease of execution and completeness and accuracy of control artifacts

  • Anticipates areas of competitive vulnerability and offers plans to mitigate them

  • Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends.
