General Electric Principal Enterprise Architect - DISE Supply Chain in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Responsible for DISE Supply Chain-wide initiatives that require in-depth domain knowledge in multiple specialized architecture areas. Responsible for leading, consulting or overseeing multiple architecture engagements as a technical expert. Will work across multiple technical or functional domains.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Set the strategy and roadmap for one or more enterprise products or initiatives.

  • Influence leadership (EB and below) and drive criteria-based decision making and strategic planning.

  • Represent and drive the enterprise architecture domain community internally.

  • Design enterprise level reference architecture that maps to organizational technical vision

  • Determine new areas for software technology introduction or proof-of-concepts based in the enterprise application domain on industry trends.

  • Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities.

  • Define and maintain the design documentation standards for enterprise architecture for the relevant domain or applications.

  • Manage the financial budget process for multiple projects in a business unit

  • Coach and mentor team members on technical skills (2-5).


Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Distinct Area of Work (DAW) or IT

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
