Job Description Summary
The “PAA” role is an integral part of the HR People Analytics Team working to support reporting and insights around critical HR KPI’s across GE Aviation. The prospective candidate will be curious and inquisitive, have strong critical thinking and analytical skills, will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with the broader PA team to drive outcomes and will enjoy informing and influencing stakeholders with data and insights.
Work with multi-functional teams of HR, Reporting, and Finance leadership to help develop and govern current and future workforce planning needs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Handle ad hoc reporting and analytics requests, while addressing Key stakeholder long-term needs and driving insights for HR Partners using existing dashboards, HRIS data, and leveraging our people data ecosystem
Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs and applying contextual knowledge to scope data requests, synthesize insights, and recommend solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of analytics teams.
Become familiar with GE HR data architecture (Workday); Develop business data audit processes to identify outages and develop corrective action plans for system data quality enhancement with a focus on standard work
Effectively communicate with cross functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion meeting and exceeding our customers ever increasing expectations
Other projects, activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned
BA/BS in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (e.g., computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, or statistics), or equivalent work experience
Previous Workday reporting experience
3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools
Excel experience including creating pivot reports, conditional formulas, and formatting, VLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs partnered with analytical and problem-solving experience
Experience with data management, specifically with auditing and validating data and reports from multiple systems
Experience working with HR/organizational people data preferred (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
Experience manipulating large data sets through statistical software or other methods
Experience having effective conversations with clients about their support needs and requirements, manage the intake process, and ask the right questions to scope and solve the requests
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills
