General Electric Fusion Operations Application Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio
Essential Responsibilities:Fusion Operations Application Engineer will act as a subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion applications and operational processes around operating and maintaining Oracle SAAS application. This Oracle Fusion ERP focus area will be operating the current Corporate Brazil business entities. Ensure compliance with all application policies including HPA, security and code reviews across all processes within scope. Work with Oracle EBS 12.1.3 or 12.2.4, and be familiar with setups and configurations and how it impacts other modules. Work with complex, multi-disciplinary teams in resolution of high-profile outages/application incidents leveraging contingent worker support team, internal supporting organizations and Application Operations coworkers when appropriate. Identify and remove obstacles on behalf of the team incidents leveraging contingent worker support team, internal supporting organizations. Use disciplined approaches to monitor application platform and service progress via effective information dashboards for operational metrics, defect, quality, change control, and compliance. Beyond driving day-to-day operational tempos and rigor, participate in activities for strategic business rhythms including Application Architecture and Roadmaps for the coming year. Create a culture of customer focus and high performance to drive innovation through continuous customer engagement to facilitate appropriate application upgrades and enhancements. Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Monitors information dashboards for operational metrics, defect, quality, change control, and compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements:Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree IT Systems support or IT Systems leadership experience in a related occupation. The position also requires: 4 years of experience in SCM & Finance processes as techno functional expert within Oracle Fusion applications; 4 years of experience in SCM & Finance processes as techno functional expert within Oracle E Business Suite; 4 years as a subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion applications and operational processes around operating and maintaining Oracle SAAS application; 4 years of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Source to pay and Project Management modules in Fusion SAAS application needed; 4 years of General Ledger Accounts Receivable, Source to pay modules and Data conversion skill in Oracle EBS 12.2.4 application; and 7 years of experience with global financial accounting needs and expertise to translate those into system functional requirements. 10% travel required.
