General Electric Aviation HQ Closing & Reporting ERP Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description Summary
As experienced ERP closing and reporting professional, you will support Aviation HQ Closing & Reporting ERP Controller in the closing and reporting process for Aviation HQ ERP systems routine and project-based maintenance, including Global, Golf, Kittyhawk, Whittle and Additive Fusion etc.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with Aviation Digital and Controllership to clear ERP system CVR;
Be an ERP go-to person to help end-users with their ERP usage issues
Function as a key player to run daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly ERP jobs to close ledger on a timely manager, and roll forward to next period
Standardize ERP maintenance process across all ERPs in job scope
Maintain statutory report jobs in ERP
Support ad-hoc project to drive ERP changes and support business request
Prioritized continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of related finance and/or ERP experience (Oracle/SAP)
Ability to work non-standard business hours during quarterly close
Proven analytical and organizational ability
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Understanding of how operational processes link to the financial statements
Prior experience in Oracle HFM/ERP systems
Strong interpersonal skills and professional style, including both oral and written communication
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Detail-oriented and strong time management skills
Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
Compliance & controllership mindset
