Job Description Summary
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction and create reference architecture. Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level. Participate in the EA (Enterprise Architecture) governance model. Support the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Managers and deliver within an agile framework. Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation. Make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment. Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module. Design interfaces and information exchange between modules. Serve as an expert in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processes. Write code that meets standards and deliver the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and apply existing technology to designs. Assess application performance and optimize/improve it through design and best coding practices. Serve as an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and implement them using language of choice. Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Provide guidance to a team of 5 to 7 developers with planning, execution and/or design architecture using agile methodologies such as SCRUM. Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision.
Qualifications / Requirements:
The primary requirements are a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or STEM Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math] and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in STEM Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math] and 5 years of experience in related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires: 5 years experience with Full stack Application Design, Development in Java and Java Script; 5 years of combined experience in Spring or Angular JS; 3 years experience with HL7 Routing Engine Design and Development; 3 years experience with Electronic Medical Record Integration and data ingestion; 5 years experience with SQL Database such as Oracle MySQL or PostgreSQL; 5 years experience with Interoperability standards for Voice and Imaging Integrations; 2 years experience with development and troubleshoot JGroups, Infinispan, or Hazelcast; and 5 years experience with logging frameworks.
