General Electric Staff Enterprise Architect - Master Data Management in Chicago, Illinois

As a Staff Enterprise Architect - Customer Master Data Management , you will be primarily responsible for Architecture, Design and Governance of the Customer Master Data Management platform built on Reltio Master Data Management & the integrated application ecosystem for GE Healthcare.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead architecture and design of master data management and data governance projects through all phases of the project life-cycle from planning, blueprint, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live.

  • Recommend data governance processes, organizational models, and Master Data Management technology platforms to business partners & stakeholders

  • Understand and manage architectural interactions of the overall Customer Data applications ecosystem across the enterprise like Salesforce, ERP & Data Lake.

  • Support the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable & modular components using appropriate design patterns that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different business / region needs.

  • Conduct "Whiteboard" sessions facilitating process, architectural and design discussions to evoke innovative solutions and approaches in an inclusive manner across the landscape of systems like Master Data Management, middleware, and business intelligence solutions

  • Develop platform roadmap for capabilities on the Customer Master Data Management platform (Reltio) in line with the business needs

  • Mentor and coach the technical leads and developers on architecture, design patterns and implementation best practices with minimal to customizations

  • Understand the integration architecture in the GE Healthcare commercial ecosystem and drive best practices.

  • Work closely with the admin and Devops team on establishing / improving the right development, version management, code quality, test automation, deployment and release management framework.

  • Collaborate closely with Program management on schedule, prioritization, release planning and risk management.

  • Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization

  • Gather and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.

  • Participate in the Enterprise Architecture governance model. Influence technology direction at the enterprise level based on broad expertise across multiple software platforms and technologies

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • 8+ Years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Architecture, Analysis, Design, Implementation and Maintenance of Applications on Reltio Master Data Management

  • 6+ years on Master Data Management domain, Data Governance, Business Intelligence

Desired Characteristics

Technical Expertise:

  • Good experience on the Reltio’s workflow engine to create process extensions for data steward and other multi-level approvals.

  • Experience in integrating with external enrichment data sources like Definitive, National Provider Identifier , DnB and others using the Reltio data tenant.

  • Has excellent data integration skills, understanding solutioning Extract, transform, load and Data Quality components of Master Data Management solutions in the enterprise application landscape

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement & Continuous Development process & code versioning via GitHUB

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry
