General Electric Sr Staff Technical Program Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description Summary

This role will focus on our Install Base (IB) releases driving customer satisfaction and solution adoption by leveraging deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program. Additionally, this role is responsible for Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) that are critical to supporting the safe and effective use of Healthcare Digital products. This role will be a key input to audit mechanisms with touch points to GE Healthcare functions (QA, RA, Product) and regulators. This role interfaces with various levels of leadership and programs teams to define strategic plans, track issues to closure and raise risk awareness. This role reports to Program Management Office.

Job Description


  • Support the GE Healthcare Digital IT portfolio

  • Collaborate with business, technical and functional partners to build solution delivery roadmaps

  • Track and report on project deliverables

  • Lead cross functional solution teams, required meetings and record/track actions, outcomes

  • Follow defined execution methodologies and project management practices

  • Manage risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the program

  • Create and manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives

  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations and QMS standards

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams across the organization and externally to ensure their tasks are completed as required.

  • Ensure lessons learned are collected and incorporated into future projects

  • Collaborate with PMO team members to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives


  • Bachelor's Degree in with 8+ project/program management experience

  • Experience managing complex, integrated software solutions

  • Experience working with global teams

  • Proven track record using various project and program management methodologies to deliver business value across the organization

Desired Skills :

  • PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications

  • Healthcare experience
