Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve software in a fast paced and agile development environment. Provide technical leadership to an agile team. Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLS) to understand product requirements and vision. Translate requirements and vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver based on required timelines and quality standards. Work with PLLS and architects to develop multi-generation software technology plans. Drive increased efficiency across teams and eliminate duplication by leveraging product and technology reuse. Support process improvements which guide development and sustain and support activities. Coach, mentor, and lead the team. work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables. Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products. Communicate with immediate team, across cardiology leadership teams, and with PLLS. Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge. Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and methodologies, such as lean, agile, XP, Continuous Integration (CI), software and product security, scaling, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. understand performance parameters and assess application performance. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using the chosen technology. Analyze customer business technology needs and propose software solutions. work closely with customers and address critical business needs through the development, implementation, and support of software applications. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customer teams, internal GE teams, vendors and technology partners.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or STEM field and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. The position also requires: five (5) years of experience building windows based web applications using object oriented programming concepts; five (5) years of experience with .net, c#, asp.net, WPF, WCF, XML, SQL; three (3) years of experience with SQL server, IIS, active directory, LDAP, and windows server OS; three (3) years of experience with web technologies such as html5, JavaScript, angular; two (2) years of experience building complex multithreaded UI applications; two (2) years of experience with team foundation server and visual studio ; two (2) years of experience with Wireshark, fiddler, debugging, and memory profiling of distributed enterprise scale applications.
