General Electric Senior Manager of Marketing, Comprehensive Services in Chicago, Illinois

Role Summary:The Segment Marketing Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading all marketing elements for the USCAN Services Comprehensive, Outsource / Big Deal segment, including gathering voice of customer and developing /executing the marketing plan. This role will formulate and nurture targeted value propositions, tailor the marketing mix for the segment, create outcomes-based solutions marketing strategies, identifying growth opportunities and more.

Essential Responsibilities:• Helps build and drive GE Healthcare solutions story and though leadership focused on high impact customer outcomes

• Drive the use of market research to identify opportunities and segment trends, integrates competitive intelligence into marketing planning by assessing competitor portfolios and growth strategies

• Works with product & service marketing teams to drive growth programs and strategies for the segment

• Understands customers’ outcomes needs, as well as values and benefits sought, and prioritizes customer segment and business opportunities in conjunction with sales, marketing, operations, and product management, leading to needs-based segmentation and go-to-market plans.

• Develops marketing strategy, value proposition, solutions positioning, and thought leadership

• Generate and aggregate evidence to support segment value proposition

• Supports Outsource / Big Deals commercial team in pursuit of deal-based success, positive customer relationships and leads facilitation of customer engagement with leadership, including development and management of an Outsource Advisory Board

• Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements

  1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  4. Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval of all marketing communications prior to external release

Qualifications/Requirements:1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  1. 5+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  2. Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy

  3. Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

  4. Excellent oral and written communications skills

  5. Strong analytical and process skills

  6. Ability to travel and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate needs of customers and sales teams

Desired Characteristics:1. Deep healthcare/medical device marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding

  1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  2. 10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  3. Healthcare product/industry acumen

  4. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas

  5. Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence

  6. Based in greater Chicago/Milwaukee area
