General Electric Segment Sales Specialist, Radiology in Chicago, Illinois

Role Summary:The Radiology Segment Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales for GE Healthcare Digital's Radiology IT and Advanced Visualization product portfolios as well as collaboration across all GEHC businesses to drive growth.

There are three positions covering the following:

Carolina's/Atlanta: NC, SC, GA, AL, Northern FL

Chicago/North-star: ND, SD, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, WI and IL

Lake Erie/Ohio Valley: KY, OH, PA, WV and MI

Essential Responsibilities:1. Drive sales of designated Radiology solutions across set geography. Utilizes good understanding of the entire GEHC portfolio

  1. Create a holistic territory plan and manage net new sales process from prospecting to close to achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration, and complete territory coverage

  2. Own prospecting strategy, forecasting, funnel development & management, territory development and close deals within assigned geography. Achieve orders, sales targets

  3. Develop and implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update on a monthly or quarterly basis

  4. Achieve sales quota through being able to demonstrate from our customers perspective, our solutions and product portfolio, understanding customer's workflow requirements and designing, quoting, and presenting the GE solutions

  5. Develop and maintain a high level of prod knowledge of IT and GEHC and competitive products

  6. Maintain complete knowledge of each accounts current and long-term purchase plans and objectives

  7. Provide input to Product teams, Sales, Marketing, and Support regarding customer business priorities, feedback and strategies

  8. Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key-buying influences in each acctount including multiple levels within the customer's organization including billing office, department administrators, physicians, and the C suite to include CFO, CIO, CEO and CMO

  9. With deep understanding of our solutions, evangelize our digital strategic direction and Precision Health and it’s benefits to the GEHC businesses, products and customers

  10. Offering deep understanding of digital solutions and the enterprises we serve, partner with the GEHC region acct teams to create demand for and bring solutions to our current and future customers

  11. Partner with the GEHC region account teams, build and execute on growth and enterprise strategies, cultivating and delivering new business opportunities and growth

  12. Collaborate across GEHC and account communities to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the customer’s enterprise including executives and key stakeholders

  13. Gather information from resources internal and external to our customers to create a clear picture of their needs, their place in the market, and of what GE can provide to achieve their objectives

  14. Analyze sales pipeline and maintain an array of opportunities to ensure that sales goals are achieved

  15. Represent GE (internally and externally) at both a strategic and tactical levels including but not limited to sharing the GE strategy as well as participating in and/or leading customer sales calls

  16. Formulate winning proposals based on a cohesive strategy that leverages deep knowledge of industry, customer, and GE products

  17. Utilize tools such as and Apptus with proficiency and rigor to help manage daily sales operations processes

  18. Proactively collaborate with boarder account community and pursue opportunities where we are selling together

  19. Liaison to commercial product organization (inside sales, demo teams, solutions architects) providing domain expertise and visibility across designated products

  20. Work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing to develop, execute and maintain programs and initiatives designed to drive orders, revenue, and customer experience

  21. Actively monitor funnel analytics for national products, while conducting longer term gap analysis to coordinate with field and product teams

Qualifications/Requirements:1. Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree and 3 years of software or healthcare experience OR High School Diploma/GED and High School and 5 years of software or healthcare experience

  1. Minimum 5 years of selling experience in related industries

  2. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

  3. Must be willing to travel 80%

  4. GE CLP Program graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience

  5. This position can be based in locations available in continental US

Desired Characteristics:1. Radiology imaging experience preferably post processing imaging experience

  1. Deep understanding of the Healthcare IT landscape

  2. 8+ years of software industry experience with proven track record

  3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the healthcare business segment and consultative sales/marketing experience including strategic selling and negotiation and demonstrated ability to grow business outside of current install base

  4. Ability to operate effectively in a technical and commercial environment

  5. Experience calling on the “C” level executives within healthcare providers
