General Electric Marketing Manager, Channel & Lead Programs in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description Summary

The Marketing Manager, Channel & Lead Programs will focus on indirect channel engagement, advancing our lead management processes, and a shared focus on our priority employee opportunity referral program (Listen & Lead). You will drive planning and execution of marketing campaigns specific to our indirect channel partners. You will serve as an expert on strong lead management practices to support our region’s growth in qualified leads, funnel, and revenue. This role will report to the Senior Director, Demand Generation & Integrated Campaigns.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Launch and optimize campaigns for indirect channels that drive lead acquisition and nurture existing leads

  • Gain deep understanding of our existing indirect channel framework

  • Create and own campaign calendars ensuring that indirect channel partners have the information and tools required to effectively market and communicate the value of our solutions to their customers

  • Support USCAN marketers in designing effective lead generation programs, ensuring alignment with marketing priorities, best practice processes, and lead management-related service level agreements.

  • Proactively engage and train marketing & sales teams on lead management processes and how to optimize and advance the impact of leads generated and opportunities created

  • Serve as an internal advisor within USCAN marketing on best-in-class lead management approaches, from lead collection to reporting

  • Understand how to process and qualify all leads (including Listen and Lead submissions) against established criteria prior to passing them to sales teams as marketing qualified leads (MQLs)

  • Provide accurate forecasts to the marketing and sales organizations on the volume of leads expected to achieve MQL status within a given timeframe

  • Become an expert of the Listen and Lead program, a priority employee opportunity referral program


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in business related field

  • Strong data, analytical and process skills and expert in Microsoft Excel• Marketo, Salesforce and lead management experience strongly preferred

  • Project and program management expertise: exceptionally detail-oriented

  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, oral and telepresence

  • Based in Chicago, Illinois

Preferred Qualifications:

  • +8 years’ experience in Marketing, Product Marketing or related field

  • Experience in setting project plans, prioritizing and working effectively towards key milestones

  • Successful experience working in team environment

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Exceptional drive and creativity

  • High energy, works proactively and demonstrates flexibility in approach to changing work priorities
