Job Description Summary

As the LCS System & Contract Pricing Leader, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining all price files, system discounting and analytics needed for our distributor customers. This role will collaborate with LCS Leadership, Commercial Operations leaders and Regional Sales teams to keep a pulse on the healthcare market, monitor the performance of the orders and recommend actions to thrive in the current dynamic environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, update, and approve LCS price lists for Group Purchasing Organization, National and Strategic Accounts in USCAN offerings.

  • Liaison to business/functional units (e.g., Segment/ Modality Leaders, Region Pricing Leaders, etc.) to set and approve pricing for LCS segments/modalities. Work to understand margin requirements and set pricing accordingly.

  • Maintain changes to configurations for LCS offerings to ensure price integrity

  • Contract pricing liaison responsible for keeping addendums up to date related to price agreements with customers.

  • Identify actual discounts and discount range resulting in direct Average Selling Price by specific product categories.

  • Support the process for requested price file updates, New Product Introductions (NPIs), RFP / RFI response, and refreshes, pricing analytics and all ad-hoc reporting requirements.

  • Maintain communication with External Pricing Organization (e.g., ECRI, MD Buyline, etc.)

  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Management, Marketing, Business Administration

  • Clear thinking / problem solving: Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement

  • External Focus: demonstrated ability to understand market dynamics and successfully counsel commercial teams

  • Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

  • Strong Analytic Skills: Demonstrated skill to clearly analyze financial information and generate alternatives

  • Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, V-lookup and macros)

  • Project management skills

Desired Characteristics

  • Masters Degree

  • Minimum 4 yrs. of experience in an analytical leadership role, encompassing Operations, Supply Chain, Service, and/or Finance.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes of problems, generate and evaluate creative solutions, implement fact-based resolutions quickly and effectively.
