Job Description Summary

The Global Cash FP&A Leader is an integral part of the global headquarters GE Healthcare FP&A team. Reporting to the Global Cash Leader, the selected candidate will own the key cash flow planning processes, including the annual Budget and Strategy reviews, and quarterly Operating Reviews. The role is responsible for advanced financial modeling and data analysis / visualization to develop long-term cash planning scenarios that can be clearly communicated to senior leaders. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying, leading and facilitating strategic cash/balance sheet optimization opportunities, improving operational outcomes, and simplifying processes to enhance cash forecasting. This role relies on a good understanding of operations, processes and financial acumen, strong organizational skills, and communication.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the cash flow statement planning cycles, including Budget, Strategy, and Operating Reviews.

  • Thorough understanding of balance sheet accounts and underlying drivers and developing accurate forecasting tools and appropriate business relationships with the subject matter experts and operational owners. This includes partnering with cross functional teams to develop appropriate forecasting approaches and processes

  • Provide regular QMI updates of forecasts for Financing and Investing activities through partnership with multiple business stakeholders.

  • Develop solid technical understanding of the intricacies of cash flow accounting (e.g. FX, M&A, restructuring implications, etc.) to be able to connect the dots to understand and articulate implications of proposed actions and to serve as a subject matter expert on cash and the point of contact for the global cash teams

  • Maintain and enhance financial and data analysis / visualization tools including Domo and Celonis.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cash technical training for GEHC in partnership with Controllership and other cross functional teams.

  • Be an active member of the FP&A community within GE Healthcare, leading a culture of open communication and collaboration and driving standardization & process improvement across operating businesses in all aspects of planning and reporting, including best practice sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from an accredited university or college

  • 8+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis and reporting
