Job Description Summary

This role is part of the CoRE organization – Co-collaborating Results and Experiences – created to develop customer partnerships and unique solution bundles that improve financial, operational, or care-based outcomes for GEHC customers. The selected candidate will work closely with peers from the commercial, solutions & financial services teams to maintain awareness of Healthcare market dynamics, support the wing to wing governance of these deals as well as creating a consistent, repeatable framework to monitor & deliver on the post-contracting GE & client KPIs as it relates to the comprehensive deal. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have an ability to think creatively & build structure and repeatability to deal execution, have an understanding of Healthcare and GE Healthcare products & solutions and analytic/financial acumen to create value management structure for GE & our clients.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Financial Ownership of large multi-segment partnerships beyond Deal Creation – In collaboration with the Deal Hub Architect, build out long term analysis to manage & govern the deal, monitor compliance with National Agreements & drive deal profitability for GEHC - pricing and margin analysis, MFN compliance, client savings, total cost of ownership through the lifecycle

  • Value Definition & Management – Define Value in conjunction with CoRE Deal Executive & Solutions team, develop baseline & measurement process that is repeatable & scalable. Establish close loop process of value management in conjunction with customer financial representatives to drive long term lifecycle partnership value.

  • Opportunity Qualification – Drive funnel rigor & deal prioritization working closely with CoRE deal executives, HFS & Strategy team

  • Standard Work, Process – identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate the governance process in all stages – commercial activation, solutions & execution with the ultimate goal of winning & executing deals in a more accelerated, efficient, and repeatable manner

  • Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy within CoRE

  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

  • Uses high level of analytics & business acumen to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact CoRE. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Minimum 6 years of commercial, operational, or financial experience in healthcare

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen (i.e. knowledge of healthcare service lines, P&L centers, balance sheets, capital & operational planning)

  • Project management skills around risk management & communication

  • Experience working in the Healthcare industry with strong knowledge of GEHC products & services

  • Experience working in a highly-matrixes environment, effectively influencing and persuading others to achieve GEHC goals defined in client growth strategy

  • Experience anticipating challenges or roadblocks and successfully mitigating those risks while achieving desired outcomes for client and GEHC

  • Proven success in combining commercial creativity, commercial intensity, and analytical capabilities

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge and experience in corporate finance with functional knowledge of revenue recognition, controllership & MFN policies
