Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to create and apply organizational change management (OCM) strategies and tactics for business-critical programs.
Develop communication plans including manager toolkits, organizational communications and accountability plans that support business goals. Create communications including design, copy writing, proof reading and meeting planning and production. Recommend and manage communication channels and frequency that engage stakeholders and improve sentiment and adoption.
Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Continually seeks and manages stakeholder feedback and identifies opportunities for improvement.
Support GE Healthcare brand standards and positively impact reputation.
Maintain relationships with cross-functional internal clients and serve as point of contact for key business initiatives.
Typically a 1st line manager of professionals or a 2nd line manager of a professional department. Developing specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college and minimum five years post college in a corporate communications or similar communications role. Two-three years of communication plan development and project management required.
Change management experience. Working knowledge of change management frameworks, Adobe CS and video editing desirable.
Outstanding written and verbal communication including ability to target communications to organizational level including delivering executive-level communications. Confidentiality a must. Good financial acumen.
