Roles and Responsibilities
Identify, design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive commercial learning for the broader USCAN commercial organization
Lead key components of the Commercial Skills Program (CSP) – phase 2 (and beyond) – on a monthly basis; including logistics, program design, content delivery, and Customer Simulation
Lead skill and competency needs analysis; leverage insights to align commercial training program to business needs
Partner with key stakeholders and sales leadership to create innovative learning solutions that align with near and long term business needs
Collaborate closely with other learning and development team members to support broader USCAN L&D strategy and achieve departmental goals
Ensure learning experiences incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design principles and are aligned to sales goals and learner competencies
Measure program effectiveness and adapt to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change, and business results
Serve as a subject matter expert regarding commercial effectiveness
Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver learning solutions
Oversee and manage training vendor relationships
Manage budget and timelines and ensure adherence to all relevant policies
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of a blend of Pharmaceutical/Device/Life Sciences experience
3+ years of relevant commercial/sales experience with demonstrated success
Excellent communication and presentation skills; executive and classroom presence
Demonstrated ability to influence others and accomplish goals within a matrixed environment
High level of organization, time management skills; ability to work independently to drive results
Results oriented with excellent decision-making skills
2+ years training experience or another specialized role preferred
