General Electric Commercial Incentive Specialist in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description Summary

The Commercial Incentive Specialist is a critical member of the Commercial Incentive Team and is responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives. The Specialist will take ownership and responsibility for solving problems and providing seamless support to the US commercial organization on all matters related to their incentive compensation plans.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional Customer Service to the Commercial organizations that you support, including the onboarding of Incentive Compensation Eligible new hires.

  • Assist in the annual roll out and communication of Incentive Compensation plans, policies, and procedures to include items such as Schedule A creation, OP & Plan acknowledgements, roll out and training calls, etc.

  • Work collaboratively with IT, US Commercial Leaders, Product Management and US Commercial Operations on incentive compensation dispute resolution

  • Track and monitor employee events (new hires, terminations, transfers, leave of absence etc.) as they relate to Incentive Compensation and ensure appropriate action is taken.

  • Participate in efforts to drive continuous improvements, simplification, and consistency both within the Commercial Compensation team and cross functional processes impacting Incentive Compensation payments.

  • Other tasks as required supporting the Commercial Incentive Compensation team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • 1+ years of experience in Sales Operations or HR Operations

  • Basic Excel knowledge is a must
