General Electric Government Sales Manager- CCS, South in Chennai, India

Role Summary:This role will be responsible for creating opportunities, delivering revenue & growing market share for both US & LCS products in Government customer segment

Essential Responsibilities:•Achieve quarterly and annual order and revenue targets through accurate quarterly forecasting

across the assigned territory

•Engage with end users & technical staff to create a strong mind share for GE

•Lead efforts to understand how technical specifications are framed and position GE products to fit

in

•Highlight clinical benefits of GE equipment through product demonstration

•Identify & develop Key Opinion leaders across geography

•Develop long-term customer relationships & maintain post sale relationships

•Support GEHC Govt. account managers in product positioning

•Provide technical compliance statement and pricing to tender executives in a timely manner

•Coordinate with Segment, region, OTR and finance team for timely execution of deals

• Follow all applicable GE policies, procedures and operating mechanisms. Proactively participate

in company initiatives depending on organizational needs and as directed by management.

•Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Quality, Regulatory, integrity and company policies.

•Prospecting for Government sector customers and business in addition to growing and

maintaining the existing customer portfolio and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business

to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales.

•Tender process management, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning

customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on assigned products in assigned

territory

•Geographic scope: South Zone.

Qualifications/Requirements:•Educational Background – Graduate in Engineering / Mastered Degree in Management

•More than 10 years selling experience of Medical devices, preferably having 3-5 years in handling

Government Business.

•Background of LCS & US range of products will be advantageous

•Strong customer focus and engagement.

•Presentation, Listening, interpersonal & influencing skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.

•Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region depending on geography and

business need.

Desired Characteristics:• Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience of handling government accounts and business in past with successful track record.

•Deep knowledge of GE Healthcare and the products and services offered.

•Good in Regional languages- preferable

•Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a

solution-based sales process

•Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into

simple messages
