Job Description
Design control strategies for linear and non-linear systems using modern and advanced control system design techniques
Carryout stability, robustness, transient and steady state response analysis of designed control algorithms in open-loop and closed-loop configurations
Develop inverter models and conduct closed-loop simulations in MATLAB/SIMULINK/PLECS/PSCAD
Good experience on Python, VHDL, FPGA development tools preferably Altera (Intel) and Simulation/Verification tools preferably Modelsim will be an added advantage
Carryout the testing of newly developed control algorithms or modified control algorithms on functional mockups and prototypes
Conduct extensive Realtime simulation tests using Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and Software -In-the-Loop (SIL)
Support customer fleet issues resolution
Carry out data analysis with inverters’ data coming from various customer sites
Work with other teams including hardware and software developers
Candidate must have a Master of Technology/Engineering (M.Tech. or M.E.) degree with a specialization in Control Systems or Instrumentation and Control or Power electronics and control (bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering)-
Solar and Battery inverter control related experience would be essential
Must be fluent in English language
