General Electric Bank Infrastructure Analyst in Chennai, India

Job Description Summary

•Manage business payment and bank reporting support processes related to GE’s electronic banking systems

• Responsible for system administration (new user, bank, and account setup) and data validation

• Responsible for follow-up with banks for service issues pertaining to GE electronic payments and bank reporting.

• Responsible for bringing about/accelerating process improvements

• Manage payment compliance screening process

• Manage GE’s electronic payment and balance reporting systems (Web Cash, Trax and Quantum) processes.

• Act as back-up for product support processes as well as back up cross pole BCP.

• Responsible for generating key process metrics for senior management

• Work on key projects allocated to the team from time to time

• Responsible for strict adherence to defined processes and escalation procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

• A graduate with a degree in business or information systems.

• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Fluent in English

• 2-4 years of prior experience in Treasury operations

• An understanding of global payment processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to work with global stakeholders

• Project management skills

• Strong customer orientation, process orientation and analytical skills

• Experience with payment and reporting file formats with knowledge of SWIFT formats preferred.

• Good knowledge of MS office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access. Experience / knowledge of database management systems and programming languages will be an added advantage.

• Fluent in English

• Knowledge of ERP payment processes

• Experience in bank services and payment processes
