Job Description Summary

As a Staff Technical Program Manager for the GE Aerospace Digital Workplace team, you will be responsible for working closely with the broader Digital Workplace organization to drive the development and deployment of key productivity and enablement tools across the organization in a seamless, contemporary, and modern way. Working under the leadership of our Platform & Asset Management Leader, you will be leading the technical scoping, design, build, and delivery of key products and capability across a product portfolio that spans core PC, Endpoint, Desktop Virtualization, Mobility, and Unified Collaboration suite of technologies. You will be part of a growing, focused team to continually develop this internal product portfolio, delivering increased value to our 60,000+ user base across the world, impacting every employee across the company.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage multiple, simultaneous programs to advance the capability delivered to GE Aerospace across the Platform & Asset Management organization

· Oversee all aspects of programs and projects – from requirements definition to driving product adoption

· Lead and coordinate technical design and architecture discussions across cross-functional teams

· Partner closely with engineering teams to validate technical design decisions meet the businesses needs

· Ensure solutions that are development are globally scalable, meeting the requirements of GE Aerospace employees in all markets across the world

· Partner closely with the Digital Workplace Product organization to map capability and functionality to the broader product portfolio roadmap

· Build, own, and maintain product documentation that will be utilized to train internal support teams and end users on core product operational capability

· Work closely with key stakeholder groups to understand the needs of the service, mapping business requirements to roadmaps and execution plans

· Manage and own customer project team relationships, working closely to ensure the success of product rollouts while maintaining strong ties to customer needs

· Manage associated program budgets and timeline, frequently reporting status and ensure programs are executed within given parameters

· Manage the TTO (transition to operations) process when launching new capability

· Develop a robust communication pack to be leveraged by customers when rollout out the product within their organizations

· Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure appropriate rigor is there

· Communicate effectively both within immediate team, horizontal partners, and GE Aerospace leadership

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

· Extensive experience of working within Digital Workplace Technology

Desired Characteristics:

· Experience in working with different project frameworks and methodologies

· Experience leading simultaneous, complex projects

· Experience with Digital Workplace services is a huge plus

· Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills

· Demonstrated solid communication skills at all levels of the organization

· Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team

· Ability to evaluate technology to drive features and roadmaps, mapping technology trends to internal vision and strategy

· Able to balance value propositions for competing stakeholders and develop recommendations that meet all needs

· Able to perform detailed build vs. buy assessments and make well-researched, data-driven recommendations

· Understands when change is needed and actively participates in technical strategy planning

· Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices

· Influences and energizes other toward the common vision and goal to maintain critical momentum during high-stress times.
