General Electric Senior Quality Staff Manager - Central Quality Leader in Cheltenham, United Kingdom
Role Summary:Reporting directly to the Site Quality Leader, this role will have primary accountability for the site Quality Management System, and the associated oversight necessary to meet the requirements of Cheltenham’s regulatory and airworthiness supply chain approvals. The successful candidate will lead a broad team of Quality Professionals, covering all areas of Quality regulatory compliance, internal and external auditing, production oversight and support and internal Quality corrective action.
Overall responsibility and ownership for the Cheltenham site Quality Management System
Quality Form 4 accountability for the Cheltenham Aftermarket Pt 145 business
Quality Form 4 accountability for the Cheltenham OEM Pt 21G business
Driving product, process and compliance improvement through the Production Quality cell-based Team
Competency assurance for supply chain operations on site
DOA/POA arrangement assurance
Partnership with DQA and CEO governance
Ownership of all relevant regulatory oversight audits and interactions with relevant bodies
Involvement in relevant UK steering groups
Setting the strategy for quality reporting of metrics and regulatory performance on a monthly basis
Collaborate pro-actively with internal and external peers, colleagues and stakeholders to establish strong functional partnerships
Proactively carry out all People Leader responsibilities for the team, including managing performance and development against both technical and behavioural requirements
Continuous process improvement within areas of responsibility
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from an accredited University
Proven, credible experience in relevant Aviation Technical and People Leadership positions
Proven experience within an Aviation (or equivalent major industry)
Quality function/Leadership role is highly desirable
