Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Electronics design, analysis, and verification using sound engineering principles, adhering to business practices and procedures
Technical documentation consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Work closely with the technical lead to ensure that technical effort is on track, providing timely communications on significant issues or developments
Provide guidance and coaching in area of expertise for other team members
Participation in technical and customer reviews as required
Qualifications and Requirements
Relevant Engineering Degree (or equivalent), with full lifecycle domain expertise
Demonstrable experience in the use of Schematic/PCB and Circuit Simulation tools
Strong problem solving and solution building skills
Ability to clearly communicate complex design concepts – both orally and written
The potential to develop as a technical leader
Desirable Characteristics
Experience in electronics design for aviation or similar safety critical applications
Familiarity with engineering tools including Xpedition, SIMetrix, DOORS, Windchill
Experience of coaching and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
