Role Summary:

GE Aviation are looking to recruit an Inventory planning and Reporting lead within its Central Planning Department. The purpose of this role is the effective management of inventory levels in line with supply requirements and cash targets. included in the position is the responsibility for reporting development and maintenance for Supply Chain.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures

  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material in line with demands

  • Ensure product supplies are executed in line with business parameter settings

  • Report daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory balances

  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory

  • Ensure supplies to replenish stock avoiding surplus

  • Analyze data to anticipate stock levels

  • Evaluate supply plans are in line with cash targets

  • Report to leadership on stock levels and issues

  • Work with Programs and Engineering team for management of life time buy materials

  • Develop disposition plans for Inventory Excesses

  • Lead a reporting team supporting Sales & Operation Planning and Supply chain reporting

  • Develop and Maintain reports for supply chain using digital tools Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Demostratable and progressive experience of planning and scheduling within the materials areas of a supply chain/manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of inventory management software and high proficiency within PC packages

  • Excellent data analytical, problem solving and forecasting skills

  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

  • Able to communicate effectively to all levels within the business

  • High level of energy and drive
