Role Summary:The Asset Manager will be responsible for conducting the administrative processes related to the delegated hardware assets, including asset tagging on initial delivery, direct control of the assets, and management of related records.
Conduct the administrative processes related to delegated hardware assets, including asset tagging and IUID labelling of equipment
Organize and manage all related asset records, ensuring data is updated and accurate
Direct control of the assets, including auditing of their physical locations
Coordinate with Calibration Department to ensure test fixtures and cables are appropriately calibrated / verified prior to use
Work with other areas of the business to transfer assets between functions
Collect data and produce ad hoc reports to project and programme management staff
Previous experience of Asset Management, or:
Working knowledge of the Engineering lifecycle,
Foundation level knowledge of at least one Engineering discipline Perform with minimal supervision
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Ability to coordinate several projects / tasks simultaneously
Proficient with MS Office tools
Proven analytical and organizational ability
