To lead and manage transfer of work for customer order engineering for the Low Voltage Control Cabinet (LVCC) for the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) product line to Charleroi, PA for the North American (NAM) market.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support tendering for all new offers with NAM LVCC in GIS scope

  • Review technical specification and seek clarifications to ensure adequacy and completeness of information required to start engineering (creating BOM and customer drawings)

  • Study customer’s technical specification to acquire all necessary information to determine the technical configuration/definition of product.

  • Creating BOM in SAP sales order (customer order)

  • Creation of customer drawings, review and submission for approvals

  • Provide technical support to TPM for drawing approvals.

  • Participate, in technical discussions with customer to facilitate drawings and engineering approvals

  • Manage changes to sales order BOM and drawings using the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) workflow ensuring timely notification to all stakeholders and authorization from TPM

  • Participate on the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of the Low Voltage Control Cabinet (LVCC)

Required Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 8 years in Electrical Power, Transmission, or Industrial Controls industries

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of electrical controls and electrical CAD tools

  • Knowledge of E3.Series, Engineering Base, AUTOCAD software a plus

  • Knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear

  • Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, ANSI, and UL standards as applicable to industrial controls, transmission and distribution industries
