Baker Hughes currently has an opportunity for an experienced Skill Pool Manager with a Software Development background, to be based at their Technology Centre in Celle.
Coordinate recruiting, training and hiring of employees for Software Development teams
Experience in managing and developing people
Diplomacy and proficiency in handling difficult situations, such as interpersonal conflict and personnel issues
Understand the Agile software development process and how to help team make improvements
Know how to help team develop skills
Identify and communicate alternative sources for locating new sources for qualified recruits
Communicate HR related programs & growth opportunities to new hires and employees
Work with Project Leaders to set goals and review progress and appraisal with employees
Supervision of employees
Create development plan and training plan for employees
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
6+ years recruiting or team lead experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability negotiate and sell the value of BHI SW Development to potential hires
Good leadership / management skills
Ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently.
Previous experience with Software Development teams would be highly desirable.
Oil & Gas background would be an advantage.
