Job Description Summary
The System Execution Lead (SEL) will work within the System Responsible organization, reporting to the System Responsible, to co-ordinate efforts of cross-functional teams in the M+IS organization to ensure delivery of key deliverables. The SEL will review the priorities of work within their area of responsibility, bringing together multi-disciplined teams in order to deliver according to the business needs. Thereby enabling time to market at right quality and cost to be realized both internally and externally.
Key measurables of this role will be:
• Ensure continued prioritization of EHS standards & compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies & procedures (internally and externally).
• Lead & work within cross functionally teams across the business units to secure execution to targets are achieved & visible.
• Take responsibility to identify, develop and implement key drivers for CTQ factors & streamline ramp up of new strategic deployments across the globe.
• Suggest initiatives that harmonize processes, techniques & KPI's.
This role is a great fit for a holistic minded, proactive & hands-on person with strong communication skills & a solid technical background. Superb organization, project management & data analytical skills would be advantageous, as would prior experience to the boarder engineering /renewable industry.
The role of the Ice Mitigation System & Lightning Protection System SEL will include:
Gathering, interpreting and using data from existing IMS/LPS processes within the function scope to determine where developments are required & resources or capital would bring greater impact.
Delivering on targets for IMS/LPS process capability improvement, new technology introduction & performance maturity.
End-to-End process ownership across the IMS/LPS focus area & reporting thereof.

The SEL shall also:
Develop and empower global teams; provide inclusive leadership and direction, including champion of the holistic system mindset strategy to meet our targets & goals.
Define and execute the deliverables of the manufacturing system scope, securing LM Wind Power’s long-term growth and superior manufacturing capability. The strategic themes are employee safety, holistic value, process capability, productivity, time to market, production uptime, capex optimization, modularity & commonality.
Ensure achievable timescales are developed, then deliver accordingly to plans & commitments via proactive resource allocation, structured technical & financial adherence to KPIs.
Establish, maintain and execute joint technology roadmaps agreed with ENG.
Develop & implement effective feedback loops between resources in manufacturing locations and use this data to define future strategies.
Engaging & transparent communication with employees, customers and stakeholders (verbal and written).
Cross-functional & cross-culture appreciation, manage complex relationships between stakeholders & demonstrate empathy towards varying capabilities & skillsets.
Use feedback from various stakeholders to define where resources and capital are best allocated to achieve greatest reward for LM
Drive a collaborative, cross-functional partnership with internal customers, suppliers and relevant LM and GE functions in relation to projects, operational tasks and support
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering with good technical understanding on the role.
Strong knowledge of, and experience with, manufacturing technologies.
Knowledge & experience of 3P, LEAN and manufacturing strategies which promote performance
Ideally 5 years’ experience in execution of manufacturing development programs or projects.
Knowledge of the KPI/drivers for achieving manufacturing excellence – ie, data capture, training, documentation, processes, skills development etc.
An engineering degree in mechanical engineering or similar/other education and experience can be considered
Project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work through ambiguity to deliver results
Capable of working with, and maintaining, complex data and information and using this to empower key decisions on short- and long-term strategy for manufacturing processes and technology.
A strong communicator, able to remain focused on delivery and execution
International experience and cultural awareness covering Americas, Europe, India and China
Strong English language skill (verbal and writing).
