General Electric Director Regional Performance in Castellon, Spain

Role Summary:Day to day leadership of the LM Wind Powers regional performance enabling all within region to successfully achieve goals, objectives and budgets.

Specific focus on the following areas:

  • Project execution

  • Optimization across region

  • Cost out programs

  • PMO interface

  • “Deputy” Head of Region

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work as a senior regional team member in order for the whole of Global Operations to achieve its targets and to secure Global Operations is seen as a professional partner

  • Represent regional Operations in all matters when the Head of Region is not available

  • Drive performance management across all plants within region

  • Be primary contact from regional Operations to Plant Managers & Plants Directors

  • Establish, track, report, drive regional Operational KPI's

  • Conduct performance review meetings (BOR, eg)

  • Develop key elements of yearly regional budget and regional target letter for regional Operations

  • Lead community of Performance Management across all plants

  • Drive and monitor regional project execution making fast, lean and sustainable implementations, driving regional performance towards global standardization

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree within Business Administration, Engineering or closely related field required

strong management experience including at the executive management level (from a Regional and/or International company) or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • EU Work Permit

If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Effective analytical skills to assess large amounts of information, data and evaluate interrelationships of numerous factors.

  • Job requires ability to travel domestically and abroad.

  • High level of communication and accountability.
