Job Description Summary
This role will be the main interface between shop operations and the planning team. You will be a main source of information to the Overhaul & Planning leaders, working with them to optimise engine/module plans to minimise cost and TAT.

Essential Responsibilities include:
Monitor adherence to plan
Highlight any instances where daily tasks are not completed on schedule in line with standard work.
Run gate closure reports and highlight any exceptions, ensuring consistency across product lines
Work with materials teams on new/vendor commit dates, highlighting instances where material does not fit the requirement.
Work with operations teams to understand labour capacity, ensuring that leave, sickness & training levels support production plan.
Work with wider planning team on long term site capacity planning; labour and tooling
Maintain site planning tools and systems, including SAP, engine plans and output trackers.
Monitor engines & modules through each shop visit, ensuring TAT & labour hours are on target
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Familiar with engine overhaul processes
Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
Experienced user of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
Highly organised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective problem identification skills
Strong team player
Desired Characteristics
Experience in a planning/scheduling environment
Understanding of Lean principles, particularly standard work
