Role Summary/Purpose
This role is responsible executing strategic sourcing activities across all aspects of GE Vernova’s Professional Services Total Rewards spend with the goal to achieve significant initial cost reductions and year-over-year continuous improvement while maintaining or improving supplier quality and service levels. This role will set the strategy, coordinate sourcing efforts and policy, and execute initiatives involving vendor management, performance monitoring, demand management, and governance/compliance to include Commodity Strategy, MSA, and SOW/Negotiation ownership related to the Total Rewards category to include Compensation, Executive Compensation, and Bonus spend. This role will with work with the Professional Services Total Rewards category leader and GE stakeholders in Business Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to identify sourcing needs, determine vendor and demand management strategies, execute sourcing events, and drive organizational processes and compliance. This role will also establish relationships by building trust with all internal and external stakeholders to meet business needs and outcomes and utilizing an understanding of industry trends to inform the decision-making process.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and implementsourcing strategies for the Professional Services Total Rewardscategory
Drive activities in the Professional Services Total Rewards spend related to GE Vernova transition to include working with BUs to clarify roles and responsibilities, standardize processes and tools, and identify/drive strategic synergies across regions and BUs
Secure TCO reductions for Professional Services Total Rewards category
Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
Drive value through supplier relationship management
Measure and track internal performance within the Professional Services Total Rewards category
Oversee the end-to-end Sourcing process: strategy, market analysis, negotiation process (RFXs), supplier selection, contract creation, and buy channel management
Work with Vendor Management Office to monitor strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization (e.g., update should-cost analysis, work closely with functions like Engineering, Finance, HR, etc.)
Utilize an understanding of industry trends to inform the decision-making process
Develop expertise within function by growing reputation within organization, providing professional and thought leadership, influencing policy, and ensuring delivery within own function while linking with other functions of the organization
Present business solutions to leaders in functional areas
Serve as trusted advisor to multi-functional stakeholder teams to design and implement specific strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business requirements and priorities
Partner with other functions to ensure all commercial requirements capture desired cost, performance, service, and business outcomes
Lead and manage multi-functional stakeholder teams on specific strategic sourcing initiatives or projects
Drive best practices and uphold internal and external policies, regulations, and laws
Drive Lean methodology at all levels to include implementing Standard Work, Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizens
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience/ knowledge
Significant experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Total Rewards related function
Demonstrated ability in leading organizational, process, and culture change
Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrixed organization
For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience), or equivalent experience/ knowledge

Desired Characteristics
MBA or Bachelors’ degree in Sourcing, Operations, orSupply Chain Management, or equivalent experience/ knowledge
Category Management (Professional Services), Contract Management, and Sourcing experience in a multi-national company
Track record of driving step-change improvement in Sourcing or similar function
Strong analytical skills (Spend analytics, should-cost analysis, market R&I)
Strong experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects
Sourcing or Analytics experience in a multinational company
Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills at all levels of the organization as well as with external organizations
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.
Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies, analytics, and financial analysis
Strong project management skills
Thought leader, experience with external benchmarking to drive next level process improvements
Demonstrated negotiation skills
