Job Description Summary
The Senior Customer Contract Manager - Engine Services leads all activities related to providing the necessary support, administration and management in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the assigned contracts inclusive of pre- and post-contract award efforts, execution in accordance with the contract requirements and the management of claims.
This also involves definition, management, and execution of risk modeling activities in support of the contract or and f contract estimating processes and activities to support tenders and project reviews. Impacts the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives.
Responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts
Provide both service agreement, and time and material program management
Assist in sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals
Assure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts
Interact with members of the customer service, parts & transactional services, field service, repair service and/or other teams
Function as a liaison between internal organizations and customers for assigned contracts
Leads a small - to medium-sized team of professionals, including a mix of direct reports and matrixed functions.
Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
Has the ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a technical or business management field of study.
This role requires significant prior experience in Services & Customer Contract Management.
Possession of an Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain such a clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Knowledge of aircraft engines or air vehicle systems and the servicing requirements of these systems
Knowledge of Defence and aerospace contracting requirements, regulations, and operations.
Ability and flexibility to work across multiple time zones both locally and the US. (includes early morning and late evening teleconferences, etc.)
Strong conflict resolution skills
Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external organizations, including upper management
Willingness and ability to travel
Strong interpersonal, influence, and leadership skills
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
Prior Airforce experience as officer or senior enlisted / rating. (Other Defence experience will be considered.)
